Oh if anyone is interested here are a few photos I took yesterday of the ice beginning to creep up the dijk by the Ijsselmeer.

Perhaps it is just me being extra grouchy this morning, but while your continuous use of the spelling "Amsterdamned" was (slightly) amusing the first several times I read it, it now grows a tedious slight to a city that I love.
