Odd Posts

Over the last month or so I have noticed new posts from Fodorites who have not been here for a very long time. If old friends are coming back, that s great. But , how and why?

This morning I noticed an odd new TR about travel in Italy during Christmas. The odd part is that the trip took place two years ago and was just posted today.

In addition, the same "hisgirlfriday" posted two other TRs this morning. What is this? This poster's profile says member since 2010, but I only see these TRs and an old question re Mexico from 2010.

Is IB sending out e mails to inactive Fodorites or something else? Are they soliciting Paid TRs to boost the site?

Just seems a little strange to me and wondered if anyone else has noticed.

Other than that, Happy New Year to all!

No and No

Mostly it seems many of the new TRs (especially on the Asia forum but on others too) are mostly to push the poster's own blogs . . .

Yes, I've seen many of those touting their own blogs. This particular poster does not. At least that's a good thing.
