October Honeymoon in Greece - where else?!

I am trying to think of a city destination that would work nicely with our trip to Greece/islands. So, a destination with direct flights to Athens - and if possible a nice (maybe even direct) flight from Boston. For example, maybe we could fly to Paris for a few days, then fly from Paris to Athens and start our Greek vacation? Are there direct flights from Paris to Athens...any other cities? Prague?

Anywhere in Western Europe would have good connections with Athens, so just pick wherever you would like to go. But for October, may I suggest you visit Greece first? October weather is still pleasant, but the earlier the better. The Greek Islands are at their best when you can be outdoors. Somewhere like Paris has more to offer indoors, with its museums, restaurants, and clubs, so weather is less a factor.

Air France - thanks, I'll look it. My original thought was to save some money on one of those "inter-europe" airlines. We have never flown one of them, but have heard of people getting great deals on RyanAir, for example.

If you choose Paris as your city, look into using Air France round trip from your home to Athens with a 3-4 day stopover in Paris. It doesn't add to the cost to do a stopover. If this is too costly, then look into the inter-Europe airlines.
