OC - thanks for the recommendation for Borsa restaurant. It was wonderful. Our first Turkish meal. We both had lamb sis kebab. She got spicy, I did not. We shared a not spicy mini pizza and a shepherds salad. It was a lovely place, weather didn't cooperate to sit outside. Istanbul is truly amazing. Chora Church and ride along the Golden Horn tomorrow before boarding the big Celebrity ship that is already docked. Maybe you can see it from your window. It has a big X on the top

I am glad you enjoyed your meal at Borsa.

We are back home from Nicea and will see the ship as it leaves the port if we are on the lookout.

Sorry about the bad weather. I hear it will get even colder next few days. I just hope that the cruise has enough attractions to keep you indoors.

Athens is beautiful today. Back to Istanbul on Thurs. am. Fly home Sunday. Been an amazing cruise. Got a gorgeous leather jacket in Marmaris

Another "yes" vote for Borsa here! My husband and I were there the other night (after reading otherchelebi's recommendation), and our dinner was a very good one!

Istanbul has such beauty within it!
