Oban or Kingussie

The choice previously was Plockton or Kingussie, and decided on Kingussie. But we will be in Inverness (using it as base) for a few days because we got a great hotel deal there, and wondering if we should eliminate Kingussie and instead go to Oban for a couple of days, and ferry over to Mull and Iona. My husband is not much help in planning; so I ask you Scottish experts for your help. This will be the beginning of May. Thanks.

Sheila,

Can you say a little more about why you don't like Kingussie? Is there someplace else in the area we should look at or will Oban still be close enough to the Highlands to enjoy that part of your wonderful country?

You need to read my response in context.

I like Kingussie fine. But the option orange was looking for was better for her.
