NY Hotels. Good, Bad or ????

Any information on these hotels in New York would be much appreciated.
Ramada New Yorker; Belvedere; Roosevelt; Days Inn -NYC; Bentley.
The Belvedere and Roosevelt are my first choices.
If anyone has stayed in any of these hotels could they give me some feedback PLEASE. I've looked up Fodor's reviews but only found the Ramada New Yorker. Leaving for NY very soon so would appreciate a quick reply, if possible. Thanks in anticipation.
I,ve posted this on the US site but response has been poor. PLEASE help.

I think you'd get more response if you posted this on the US board, rather than the European.

From what I hve been able to find out,not having stayed in these hotels myself, the Belvedere is in Midtown, and ok, the Roosevelt is on Madison Ave and much nicer.Someone I know stayed at the Days Inn and because it was so inexpensive they took a suite-the hotel was ok but the area wasn't so great.Sorry I couldnt find out more.

Den, One more thing! Friends of ours from London stayed at the Warwick, they liked it and it was close to a lot of good areas, try that!C

I stayed at the Roosevelt a couple of years ago and it was very nice. Convenient, "classy", good discount rate, nice sized rooms, restaurant and lounge, free continental breakfast. Rivals the Waldorf without the expense!

den, try topping your post on the US board. The one reply you got was quite helpful, so maybe you could give it a bit longer than one day.

Barbara, what do you mean topping ? How do I do this ? Yes the reply was excellent but having read a number of reviews on other sites I am totally confused. Some say Roosevelt is super others very poor.

The Roosevelt was totally remodeled in the last three years and many millions were put in it. I love the location for it is convenient to everything. We walked into the Days Inn lobby and I would not stay there unless it was dirt cheap.
