They have forums for specific airlines. Even though you're not asking about the Worldperks program, you can use those forums to talk/ask about Northwest.

But when someone's flying coach across the Atlantic, there's really little about service to ask about. You should expect them to get you there, and feed you twice with some edible matter.

Hi rg,

I have found that when flying cattle class you want to look for TVs in the back of the seat in front of you, and whether the food is edible.

Beyond that, they are all equally good or equally poor.

If you're flying transatlantic, Northwest's Airbus A330-300s are as good as any plane. The seat pitch and legroom are typical of a 300-seat plane, but the entertainment systems at each seat with your choice of movies, music, games etc. are quite nice.

I believe this is the flight I took for our trip to Italy this past May. It was quite nice to have the individual tv screens and games. The service was good and the food was decent. Nothing stands out as being exceptional or poor, although in comparison to our flight back on KLM, the NWA flight was far better.

On this aircraft model, NWA crams more economy class seats than other carriers.

NWA's 333 seating is comparable with most carriers flying this aircraft (including airlines like Cathay Pacific), with 31-32" pitch. The only airline that has significantly longer pitch throughout coach on a 333 is USAir.

If you look at the number of row of seats in the far rear cabin, most put 16-17 rows there, includidng NW. USAir puts 15.

User reports are also pretty positive with NW's new plane.
