Hi - I'm going to be traveling to Berlin in a couple months and I always like to read some fiction on top of all the travel books about a place I'm going. Can anyone recommend a book or a movie set in Berlin - but more in "today's" Berlin rather than pre WWII or right afterwards. Thanks so much!

I just started reading a novel entitled "Weather in Berlin" by Ward Just that might fit the bill.

There was a movie a while back called Funeral in Berlin; it may have been during Cold War, tho, and that's earlier than your time frame.

I would recommend The Reader by Gerhard Schlink (or something like that.) I couldn't put it down.
