That sounds like an awesome last minute trip! You won't regret visiting Normandy - it's not only rich with WWII history but there are also gorgeous towns to explore. In terms of cities/towns, I'd definitely recommend checking out Mont Saint-Michel, Honfleur, Giverny, and Bayeux. Each has its own unique charm that you won't be able to find anywhere else. For sites related to WWII history, the Normandy D-Day landing beaches are definitely a must-see. Enjoy your trip!
