Normandy/Brittany

Hi everyone!
We've used that site before and it was great. So,I'll appreciate if you could give us advise about the following:
my family (me, husband, 2 kids - 6,9) are going to France for the last third of July. We are planning to stay in Normandy/ Britany for 4-5 days and then continue to Paris for a week (we have an idea about apartment and activities for 2 weeks at least in Paris...).
I have to add that me and my husband have been few times in France including Normandy and some Britany. But now we are coming with the kids...
We need a good idea for a rented apartment/B&B/guesthouse for 5 days or even a week in those areas. Any recomandations?
Thanks a lot,
Gali

Cigale,

Thanks for posting that excellent web site; I'm storing it for future reference.

I like the choices given by Gites de France, both for long term stay and overnight stays. I used their site specifically for Normandy and Brittany, making reservations with no deposits before leaving the States. I made sure I had printed out and taken along the confirmation, although problems never arose in that regard. Most of the Gites de France B&Bs are out in the countryside, requiring the use of a car.

Hope you have a wonderful trip.
