No run on the banks on Monday

The german government just said it would guarantee for all private deposits people hold in the banks.

This is to prevent a bank run next week. Hope it helps...

In any case be prepared, who knows.

I would trust my (US) government's guarantee 100%.

After all they just have to print-up more money so it's no big deal, just some ink, paper and alittle overtime for the workers. Regards, Walter

UK Government has been doing that for years lol

Well, I'll be checking a few ATMs now to see if they're out of cash and hopefully get a few 1000€.

Mucky: I believe Rome did something like that ~200AD except they added cheaper metals to their silver and gold coins.

That's about when they got into that 'Decline' part of the Roman Empire. Regards, Walter
