I used it on our last trip to Italy from Boston. It DID seem to ward off that tired, disoriented feeling you get the first day overseas. It is not a sleep aid, but more of a 'pick me up'.
Tastes like little sugar pills, so maybe it's it's all in your head .

I have used it on several trans-Atlantic flights and it does seem to work well. It's worth a try.

Have used it for 5-6 trips now, and I do believe it relieves some of the 'disoriented' symptoms. They are citrus-flavored tablets that you can just chew or swallow. Doesn't replace the sleep you miss. Try it this trip and see what you think.

I have seen it on the www.magellans.com site. I bought a great product from there and was ordering another one and saw this.

This might be helpful to some of you guys to make the long flight easier. I bought the "First Class Sleeper." I often take long flights and it is so helpful. Its about $50 but well worth it. I manage to make it work 2 ways, one the way it was intended for your back, and then if inflated fully, and reversed the "back rest" part of it makes a great leg rest.

DH and I have used the herbal jet lag product. Our sense is that it certainly doesn't do any HARM!

The only problem I experience is remembering to take it every 2 hours or whatever the dosage is.

Thanks for reminding me to go buy some more!

I haven't used it but am tempted because the last few transatlantic filghts have affected me more than they used to,

But a local travel shop sells No-Jet-Lag and wanted to find out if it is actually effective. They ran a survey asking every customer to give their opinions of how it worked. The vast majority say it works at least a little, and most really praise it - the poll runs about 10 to 1 in favor of the product

I've been thinking about getting this product for my trip in May. I think I'll get it and try it out before the trip just to make sure I don't have any unwanted side effects.

janis - Hi. What is the name of the travel shop? I am wondering if I can get to one if it is a chain. I am leaving tomorrow so its too late to order off line. Thanks

Sorry - it isn't a chain - but a local independent. They do have a website but you wouldn't get delivery in time.

If you are in a city, I'd suggest you check any travel/luggage shops. They probably carry it. I have also seen it in airport news stand/gift shops and a few drug stores.

Thank you, I will try at the airport tomorrow. I just bought a large "SmartWater" with electrolytes, maybe that will help. If I find the No Jet-Lag I will try it and post my opinion of it next week.

Aine,
Try calling your local health food/organic grocery store. I think I remember seeing them at a Wild Oats (Henry's in SD) or Whole Foods Market.

I got some at a travel shop. I've taken it several times, but sometimes forget to take the dosage every few hours, as stated. I really don't notice much difference when I do or don't take it. There really is no substitute for sleep..!

Homeopathic voodoo--probably has a placebo effect. But if that makes you feel better, what's it matter?

They seem to work, I have used them on my last two trips and I am not as tired with no side effects. They are homopathic but still made out of herbs so there is no voodoo involved. If you read the insert it sort of explains how each herb works.
