New Year's Eve Party in Rome Announced!
OK, board Rome vacationers, I am asking everyone who wants to participate in a party on New Year's Eve to email me privately. My email address is [email protected]
The location will be at the apartment that will be my home exchange base.
Dress is casual or whatever you have in your suitcase that you want to wear. Even white sneakers are acceptable for this event because the Fashion Police will not be allowed in the door to arrest anyone for "improper" clothing.
Everyone must help with the food, drinks, etc.
I think we could all have a blast at a much cheaper price than dining out in some restaurant at New Year's Eve prices.
Hosting this event is dependent on the number of people who respond. Obviously we need enough people to make this a fun event.

Since we have an apartment at our disposal due to a home exchange we thought this could be a fun thing to do.
Obviously, whether it happens or not depends on the level of interest. Having a party for 2 people is just not fun. The more the merrier!
Neither of us really want spend big bucks (at the current exchange rates BIGGER bucks) in a restaurant for one of those New Year's Eve bashes. You can eat out the day before or the day after and pay much less!

I am sending this one to the top again in case anyone who might be interested has not seen it.
We got one response off the AOL boards, but nothing from fodors.
Obviously, no party unless we get a number of responses.
Party or no party, it will be a great trip. We will be doing a side trip to Florence overnight as well. That is all set up with Uffizi reservations, etc.
