New sleeper bus service coming
I just read this article in the Independent. looks interesting, if the price is right. There isn't much privacy by the looks of it, and earplugs are probably essential!

Interesting. I wonder how multiple stops along a route would be. On a train that has stops your cabin door would be a sound and light buffer, but not so on a bus.
so I guess I’d not count on it for a good night sleep, but it is an interesting option for long distance routes. Always good to have options.

Well, it's a step above the Flix bus, but still a firm no from us. I don't want to attempt sleep wearing ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones. (Among complete strangers to boot). Would take the train instead, even if it's not a sleeper train. Actually, we'd probably take a TGV to Paris, overnight there and then head to Amsterdam the next day on Thalys. OR take a morning TGV to Paris, then switch to an afternoon Thalys to Amsterdam. Have a nice leisurely lunch between trains at a cafe/resto near the Gare de l'Est (Packiams, maybe)

I doubt the price is going to be right. Those fold down seats mean what maybe thirty people per bus?
Surcharges for extra luggage? Okay the main luggage limit is pretty good but still.
I guess ten hours on the bus. That means at least one driver change. Plus fuel. Tolls. The bus itself.
It's going to be more expensive than flying LLC. Maybe more expensive then the train.
