Need Your Opinion
I am planning a trip for 2 weeks at the end of june to Florence but would like to see as much as italy as possible. I was thinking I can fly into florence, take the train to Rome then drive down the almalfi coast to Naples. Or would it be better to see florence, milan and venice. Any suggestions on which cities to visit in such a short amount of time? Thanks for your help!

DId you already book airfare? If not I suggest an openjaw ticket, possibly flying into Rome and out of Venice, or something along those lines. IN 2 weeks you can probably do the 3 biggies (Rome/FLorence/Vencie) and a little Amalfi, roughly spending 3-4 days in each.

Thanks for the advice! I haven't bought my ticket, still in planning phases. An open-jaw ticket is a good idea, however, wouldn't it increase my overall fare? Also, out of curiosity, is Milan worth visiting?

Open-jaw does not cost very much -- if any -- more than straight return.
I'd also second MFNYC's suggestion, but bear in mind that the Amalfi Coast is south of Naples, not between Rome and Naples. Fly into Naples and out of Venice, which may be a little more complicated, or otherwise into Rome and out of Venice.
In my opinion, Milan is not sufficiently interesting to warrant taking time from a relatively short trip to Italy.
