need Ray's number, please

Does anyone have a London phone number for Ray's London Transfers, please? We used their service to get from LHR to our hotel on Friday and need them to get back to Heathrow next Friday but I forgot to book the return and now cannot find their number.

I've tried do a search at this forum but cannot find anything and, at 5p per minute for use of this computer, do not want to read each and every post.

Help!! thanks, Pat.

Miriam & Steve,

thanks so much for Ray's numbers, I really appreciate your help.

According to a sign at the Tube, there will be a general strike Thursday evening and all day Friday 12th October. Also to be repeated the following week, same days. I'm not sure if these strikes will really happen but if ever there was a time to call Ray, this is certainly it!!

thanks again. Pat.

Is this true? Is the Tube on strike this week?

The tube strike planned for Thursday 18 October has been cancelled. There is a notice about it at tube stations (and on LT website). But it warns that further disruptions are possible, as they are still disagreements about drivers' working conditions. It also cautions about work-to-rule on Piccadilly line, but I haven't experienced any disruption. At the moment the tube is a joy to use as there aren't many tourists, but makes you sad when you think of the reason why.
