Barb, we stayed at the Mercure Opera in 1999 - the room was tiny but quite adequate. The bar area and breakfast room were also nice, and they served quite a good breakfast. <BR>However, on our last morning while our tour group was at breakfast a thief entered the room and merged with our group. He then attempted to take some of the hand luggage piled at the entrance to the room. By chance we had two very fit policemen in our group who tackled and restrained him. By this time, however the staff had locked themselves in the office and refused to come out!! We had to ring the police ourselves!

I stayed at the Hotel Moliere last year and would not stay there again. The bathroom was good size and quite clean, but the bedroom had a strangely short ceiling - and I am not tall. I didn't find it to be charming or have much ambiance. I am also not fond of the 1st arr. even if it is quite convenient. A friend of mine recommended it to me and liked it a lot, mentioning her charming and spacious room. So maybe it depends on the room for this hotel.
