Also should add that as charming as the city of Pontevedra is for the old quarter there is sill a small problem at time of odour coming from the huge factory.
The article below is about the continuation of the factory producing wood pulp until 2073. In order to get this agreement the company operating the factory will upgrade it's operations to guarding the environment with the reduction of odours and putting more efforts into recycling an polluting the local river less.
