Terry,

Although my Fodors guide doesn't list any accomodations in Conwy, both the Lonely Planet and Let's Go guides do. Rather than flirt with copyright infringement, I'll refer you to your local library or bookstore.

I stayed in Llys Gwilym Guest House in Cadnant Park (www.a1tourism.com/uk/llysgwil.html). Cadnant Park is a residential area outside the town walls of Conwy. There are quite a few B&B's in this area. My B&B was about 5 minutes walk from the town center.

Here are two links that come from a Yahoo search. Both list accomodations in and around Conwy:
www.conwy.wales.com/accommodation.htm
www.a1tourism.com/uk/conwy.html#Conwy Hotels and Guest Houses

I hope you enjoy your stay in Conwy as much as I did.
PS: You might also find the following website of interest: www.castlewales.com/home.html. It provides an enormous amount of info on Welsh Castles.

Hi Terry,
I stayed at a wonderful manor house about 30 miles from Conwy Castle last May. It was called Golden Grove. It was the best surprise of the entire trip.
Check it out on the best B&B website in the A-Z section under Wales. Then look under the town of Holywell. The website is www.bestbandb.co.uk I had a great time there. I'm sure you would too! Have a wonderful trip!
