NEED FAST RESPONSES!!! JFK TO PRAGUE $441.31...
...this includes taxes, is this a ticket I should grab? Travel dates are 04/16/01 thru 04/30/01. I will still need to get from Buffalo to JFK, about $100. I've got to move quickly on this if I want it...!

oh, it's with Czech Airlines, if that matters.

Lisa, per Travelocity you can fly BUF to Prague on those dates for $538 all-in but it shows you traveling through Newark.

Though I know nothing about Czech Airlines, it's a great fare. If you don't buy the whole trip together (including the BUF legs), be sure that you can get a separate ticket from BUF to JFK or EWR for only $100 (and make sure you've got the right NYC airport).

yes, that's a great fare RT NY-PRG. I've flown Czech Airlines within Europe and they were fine, better than a lot of US airlines IMO in quality and attitude and service. I flew in May from East Coast, but it was still about twice that rate, as I recall. But if you can't get the local portion very cheap, it may not be the greatest deal.

Lisa: We returned from Prague just last week. We went through Summit Tours flying Continental from Buffalo to Newark and on Czech Airlines from Newark to Prague. We stayed for one week at a cost of $629.00 P/P for air (Newark-Prague), hotel, breakfast, airport-hotel transportation and one free dinner. We paid $82.00 R/T from Buffalo to Newark.

Czech Airlines is a class act. I usually take 30+ flights each year on business, but CSA has better service than US Airways, American and Northwest. We were on a new aircraft with global positioning that constantly showed us where we were, air speed and when we would arrive.

$441.00 is probably a good price for April. Our price was better since it was November. You can check with Summit at www.summittours.com for info or comparison shopping. I recommend them, but I am not affiliated with any travel agency.

Good luck.
