Need a recommendation for a double decker buses(not hop on hop off)

Pretty well all the bus stops in central London, and certainly those at interchange points like Trafalgar Square will have a map showing all the routes from that area, and an inset map showing where all the stops are for the different routes - in this case, like this:

Most of the buses on the route will be the new Routemaster design, you'll need to hand around to see if one of the heritage old models turn up. It won't be hard to tell the difference.....
There's nothing of any great touristic interest along the 15 route east of the Tower, particularly if you don't have a lot of time - just fairly humdrum and slightly scruffy workaday shops and housing estates.
