Ebuni, I know you didn't use the word 'best' but as I wrote, "It seems as if you are trying to ask, 'which are the best islands for me to visit?'"
You can ask a question without using the word 'best' without even knowing perhaps that that is what you are asking. You've done it again when you now write, " I am checking in to see which better fits my descriptions and if I could get any input." So you want to know which will be 'best' for you, Ios or Paros.
Ios has a deserved reputation as a party island. But that does not mean you have to want to party to enjoy the island. Compare the descriptions of what there is to see and do on Ios on the following sites.
On this first one, partying is mentioned but not as an attraction in and of itself, the word 'incidentally' is even used when mentioning the top party club.

Then read this site which says the beach and nightlife are the 'main things to do'.

This one just gives you a list and let's you decide why you want to go to the island.

Now read a list of things to see and do on Paros using the same 'theculturetrip' as in the first link above and compare it.

What do you see? What I see is no real difference. So is Ios or Paros better for you given your interests and the amount of TIME you plan to spend on the one you choose?
People who give you an opinion that Ios is the party island and that is the ONLY reason for anyone to visit it, simply shows their ignorance of what else can be found on ANY Greek island IF you want to find it.
So now, how will you decide between Ios and Paros if you agree you can find things of equal interest to you on both? How about something as simple as which ferry ride is shorter and cheaper. Works for me.
