Naples Hotels

Hi
We'll be visiting Naples in February for a couple of days. Can anyone recommend a nice 2-3 star hotel (approx Euro75 per night) in a central area.
Thanks for you help.

Try the Alloggio Sansevero, in Piazza San Domenico, or the Hotel Rex, 50 yards from the Lungomare and practically next dor to the Hotel Excelsior on Via Partenope. Consult www.ept.napoli.it

I agree with GAC: Alloggio Sansevero, in the heart of the true centre of the town.
Ciao.

We stayed at the Hotel Pinto Storey last May and I highly recommend it. We got one of the more expensive rooms (although I think it was only something like $110 USD) with windows out each side of the building and a great view of the Bay of Naples.

The people there were very nice, the art deco building the hotel was in was a feast for the eyes, it was on a nice piazza (Amedeo) which had a metro stop and a funicular stop; very central for transportation but far enough away from the mayhem of central Naples to be sort of calm. Well, sort of! Here's their website: www.pintostorey.it

Buona Fortuna!

Oh, yes, one more thing about the Pinto Storey...there's a taxi stand right outside in Piazza Amedeo, which (for us) was a key to the hotel's convenience. Naples taxi drivers, however, are another story...
