Yes, there were! Especially at the Anton Gardens, where I was told a group of Maltese ladies feed the cats regularly, capture and neuter and put back.

I have a small theory about how to measure how civilized a county is and/or how well it is doing economically. It's by how they treat their animals!

I was on a bus and saw a man get out of his car and walk to a vacant lot with a plastic bag full of food for some stray cats.
