Mykonos or Santorini

Traveling summer of 2007 trying to decide between the 2 islands. Family of 4 with 2 teenage boys (18 & 16). I will have a couple of days to spend. Recommendations for one or the other?

If you decide to go to Mykonnos, your two boys will become "men". The island is a party haven for teenagers and adults alike. Santorini, with all its churches is more subdued.

Neither - try Naxos.

There's more to see and do on Santorini, and it's not subdued at all in the peak season. There's plenty of nightlife, shopping, hotels, restaurants, galleries, a museum, archaeological sites and beaches, as well as an excellent bus system to get you around the island if you don't want to rent a car.

It depends upon your teens, but in general, Santorini has everything - with sunsets. It is a unique travel adventure. If it is mostly for beaches, then pick Naxos, with even better sunsets.
