I've used only the 18-55 mm lens..it worked for most situations, but I guess it's time I begin experimenting something new. Lighting conditions were more or less perfect throughout my trip, each day was sunny, evenings always had magical lights. Now I've recently been to Europe, and I realize how great the lighting conditions in Turkey were.

Hi Ashwin,
Thanks for a really good travel report. I am considering a trip to Turkey in November and was wondering if I could contact you either by email or phone or even meet, as I live in Pune too. Need some advice on how to plan this trip and mainly to determine if I can do this on my own or whether I need to go with an agency. I will be traveling solo, on a budget, interested in photography, and am 53! My email ad is [email protected]. Thank you.
