Having just been admonished by a German poster for visiting the Eagle's Nest in Berchtesgaden, I'd like to comment on the poster's scolding of jerseysusan's visit to a bullfight.
To express your concern or displeasure is fine. That is surely your right. But then to continue to berate the poster is absolutely and positively RUDE. Why on earth should I want to visit a country where people are so rude?
I love animals and, personally, would not visit a bullfight but they aren't illegal and the OP said she did not enjoy it but went because her son wanted to go.
There are just a few too many "holier than thou" posters on the travel forums these days. People want information. They do not want nor should they be subjected to tirades from the locals.
