I took one of my girlfriends to J-A for a birthday lunch-we loved our salmon entrees, our wine, especially our desserts, the elegant salon where we had lunch (plus there is a terrace where you can have lunch as well) and the fact that there were few if any tourists there-mostly just Parisians-some having business lunches, etc. It's a very interesting museum-HIGHLY recommended.

As for reservations-as posted, they don't take them for lunch, but when we went over a year ago in May the line was out the door during the week-we had to wait around 45 minutes, it was so crowded. It might do to get there just when it opens for lunch.
