I don't think so. The mountains are different in their appearance and geologic composition.
Mürren does provide some great views of the Jungfrau and neighboring peaks.
I like that area, but there are others that are also attractive.

I have stayed in both Murren and Wengen and there is certainly a wow factor with the mountains hanging overhead. But I have spend 11 vacations in the Dolomites so that area really has my heart. I love the rocky spires rising from the green pastures and I love the feeling of immersion in the Tyrolean culture (a feeling I didn't have about the Alpine culture in Wengen/Murren because there were mostly tourists there). I think there is definitely a wow factor in the Alpi di Siusi but it is totally different than the Bernese Oberland. I have visited Castelrotto (but not stayed there) and I think it is a wonderful little town with a lot of character but you can't really see the best mountains from the town itself. In this way it is quite different from Wengen/Murren.
