Munich, Amsterdam and Brussels itinerary- please advise

I am almost finished planning my itinerary for my February trip to Munich, Amsterdam and Brussels. I would appreciate any advice on things we have left out. Also I tried not to overload the itinerary so let me know if you think you are doing too much or too little. The trip may seem a little focused on beer but my husband works in a brewery and is an avid homebrewer.

Feb 17- Leave Houston Intercontinental

Feb 18- Arrive in Frankfurt at 7:10
Train to Munich at 8:54
Arrive in Munich at 12:30
Check into Wombats City Hostel
Explore Munich (Marienplatz
Dinner at Hofbrauhaus.

Feb 19- Panorama Tour of
Neuschwanstein and Linderhof
At night- Augustiner Keller

Feb 20- Train/ bus to Andechs Monastery
Explore the Holy Mountain
Back to Munich
Check out a couple more
Night train to Amsterdam

Feb 21- Arrive in Amsterdam at 8:53
Check into Amsterdam Escape
Things to do in Amsterdam:
Anne Frank House
Heineken Experience
Canal ride
Explore city and drink lots
of coffee or hot chocolate to
stay warm.

Feb 24- Train to Brussels at 12:56
Arrive at 15:35
Check into Renaissance Brussels
Go to Beer Mania, Bier Circus,
Delirium Cafe.

Feb 25- Explore Grand Place.
Buy some Belgian chocolate.
Train to Frankfurt at 13:28
Arrive at 16:58

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Looks good, but you may want to defer Hofbruahaus for a night other than the one on which you arrive. Its a fun place (especially if you like to watch Japanese tourists vomit -- at least that's what I sat next to when I was there), but better after a full night's sleep so you can drink all night (until you too vomit). Its great.

I would factor in the Mort Subite when in Brussels

And you might want to try restobieres - which is a restuarant with food based on Beer!

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I will save Hofbrauhaus for the night of the 19th and we will go to Augustiner Keller on our first night in Munich.

Lawchick- Thanks for the links. Both of these places look like good additions to our itinerary.

I think I might plan to fly into Munich and out of Amsterdam and skip all that training to get to and from Frankfurt.

I think it is every evening at 7pm on the 3rd floow of the Hofbrau Haus they have a cheesy but fun Bavarian Evening show with slap dancing, yoadeling and alphorn playing. You can go for the show for something like 6 euros plus beer or you can spend about 20 euros and add the buffet. I prefer other restaurants. You might consider going for the show then having dinner somewhere like the Ratskeller under the Rathaus (glockenspiel building in Marienplatz).

Since you are going to the Andech's Monastery this might not make your list the there is a restaurant by the same people right behind the Frauenkirche called Andech's am Dom. The walls are lined with wood from old confessionals. (if only the walls could talk)
