Hey guys

I'm going to France this May 2013 for 10 days. Intended to go Paris, Strasbourg and Loire Valley.

What I expect to see is country (village) with fields of flowers.

if the city I choose don't have fields of flowers, can you suggest me a destination?

Also can I rent a motobike (not bicycle) to run around?

I don't know any city anywhere in the world that has "fields of flowers." Flower displays, hanging baskets, pots...yes, but fields? No. Paris and Strasbourg aren't "villages," they are cities. I suppose in May there might be poppies here and there in the Loire Valley, but I wouldn't count on it, particularly as the winter and early spring weather in France this year has been particularly harsh.

I don't know anything about renting a motorbike in France, but I imagine you'd need some kind of special license to do that.

And Paris, Strasbourg, and the Loire Valley is a bit much for 10 days, though it could be done in a bit of a rush.

You'll need a license, insurance and bring your own helmet, required by law.

France has many 1,2 3 and 4-flower villages. Do a Google search. As already noted, "fields of flowers", maybe, if you know which villages to visit. May should be fine for flowers at the end of spring, but most will be in the Alps or Pyrenees.

Do you mean a motor cycle or a peddle bike that is motorised?
