Dear Ms Koch

The dull and expensive tunnel route is 6 hours, with a change at Brussels. More interesting is Liverpool Street 0845, Amsterdam Central 1733, by Harwich and Hook of Holland. A route that gives you many views, and that few take, is London Victoria at 0833, train views of Rochester Castle and Cathedral, of Canterbury cathedral if you know when to look, the white cliffs of Dover from a catamaran, Ostend, a bus to Breskens, a boat thirty minutes over to Vlissingen (Flushing), then a train to Amsterdam Central in 3 hours, to arrive at 1739. Or you could stop for a good Belgian lunch across the station square in Ostend, and reach Amsterdam at 1839.

Please write if I can help further.

Ben Haines
Ben
Thank you so much for your reply. Can you tell me how we would book the second train/catamarang/bus/boat/train trip you suggest. Would we just buy a ticket for each part of the journey when we get to that part, or is there a all-in-one ticket. Thank you so much.
