Moscow question

I have a place to stay in moscow, I would be interested in going for 5 days. Is $400 american dollars enoght to cover a 5 day stay for sight seeing and food. or is this exessive. what is reasonable.

Thanks,

Moscow was the most expensive city in the world last year. I would budget for more.

Just to clarify - you probably can get by for $400 but I would bring a little more just in case. You can save by eating some meals where you are staying. The most expensive part of Moscow is hotels and you have that taken care of.

Moscow has the most expensive hotels so far. You can try this http://www.spirit-of-moscow.com/ - they help with accomodation and visa support, probably they will find accomodation to Your budget.
Good Luck

I would suggest having more money available. London, Moscow, and New York are often considered the world's most expensive cities.

I was in London last fall and a VERY modest lunch cost me $45!!!

Better to have more money and NOT need it than to run short!
