Moscow apt's?

Can anyone tell me about a "Slowtrav" type website for reviews of Moscow apt's? I am also interested in hearing anyones reviews for any apartments and agencies you have used. Close to Kremlin and Metro preferred.

Thanks in advance, you folks make it all possible!

Write or call Mark Miller [email protected] or www.discoveringRussia.com. I know that he often rents apartments for people in St. Petersburg (I've used him for my own trips) and he lives in Moscow part of the time (his company is based in New York).

Through a blind internet search I found an agency with nice looking, well located apartments in both Moscow and St. Petersburg: http://www.apartmentres.com/

Any opinions?

FYI to others - though apt's in Moscow are roughly double the price of similar (in location, size, quality) places in St. Petersburg they cost MUCH less than a crappy

I highly recommend www.cityrealtyrussia.com, they have great apartments in both Moscow and St. Petersburg, and they were a very easy agency to work with. You'll save a lot of money if you go directly through them instead of an agent here in the US who goes through them and then charges you a markup (I found their prices substaintially more competitive than Discovering Russia's for the same quality of service). The quality of the rooms were great, and they had free international calls, washing machines, cable TV and most have free high-speed internet access. They have lots of apartments close to the Krelin and Metro, and if you have any questions the staff is great about finding the best apartment to suite your needs (they're more familiar with the city and weekly events because they have local offices in Moscow and St Petersburg, even though they're a Western owned company).
