Finally getting to Italy next week! I’ll be taking multiple trips out of Rome and plan on purchasing a monthly Lazio pass. Some of my train trips will take me up to the Viterbo area. Do I need to purchase a 4 or a 5 zone pass?

You should look at the Cotral website which they can't seem to make enter the 19th century.

If you want only one pass you need the €91.

How many trips? You could buy a smaller number of zones for the month and just pay for the trips to Viterbo if it ends up cheaper
