Monday closures at the Alhambra???
I just saw a comment on the Rick Steves Spain forum that mentioned that the free "museums" at the Alhambra were closed on Monday, the poster thought. I believe it was in reference to the Charles V palace, but that wasn't clear. The Alhambra website doesn't mention anything being closed on Mondays, nor does tripadvisor. We will be there on both a Monday and a Tuesday, but prefer to visit the Alhambra on Monday, if everything is open that day. Anybody know about closed vs open for Mondays at free sights at the Alhambra??!!

It is also my understanding that the Museum of the Alhambra, located in the Palace of Charles V, is closed on Monday --

Thanks, kja. If that is the ONLY place closed on Monday, I think we will stick to our original plan of going to he Alhambra on Monday. I can't find anything that states that the actual Palace of Charles V is closed, only what you posted re the museum inside of the palace. I imagine that we will have enough to see without the museum!!!

That's the only part that seemed closed to me when I looked at the web-site, but I could be wrong. FWIW, I thought the Place of Charles V the least interesting part of the Alhambra, worth it more for the contrast than anything else. ;-)
