I LOVE YOU and God does too! "He" sees AF...they will probably be bought out, taken over, locked out...
I had no idea about your beloved husband. I am sorry for your loss and meant no disrespect.
You are one heck of a trooper...a travel inspiration to many, I am sure. That you did not whine, fight, argue and bitterly complain simply raises the Fodor Travel Board Bar!
Have a great weekend...It's suppose to be hot over here in Northern California where we live...

You want AF to go under because they charged her? Remember they were holding 6 seats on a international flight..that is income the airline missed if they rebooked on another flt with no charge. You all can't have it both ways, the airlines to be in business and to give it all away! Bottom line is you get what you pay for. 2 sets of tickets means two different trips, not connected! Neither airline has responsibility to the other.

I recently booked flights like this for my mother. Rest assured she has LOTS more then 3 hours. Three hours would be cutting in too close especially if there was ANY checked luggage.
Airlines recommend an arrival two hours in advance for any intenrational flights. If you have to pick up luggage you need to add that in.
I also have my mother on the same airline which I am hopeful will book her luggage thru. (She is doing a tour and they would not fly her out of Knoxville so I had to get her to Atlanta on my FF miles!)
