Milan (Malpensa) stay over to Paciano.

We fly into Milan on Saturday 22 June 2013 at 14:00. After a long and tiring flight from South Africa, we would like to spend the night somewhere in the country. As we have to stay over, it will be good if we can experience some real Italian village. Maybe some off-the -beaten track "gems". Please advise. Thank you!!
Erna

Will you be picking up a car or do you want somewhere you can reach by train?

We planned to pick up our car at the airport, but we are also thinking of taking a train if it is possible (and more convenient after a long flight from South Africa?)

What does Paciano have to do with this? Paciano is nowhere near Milan.

We will be staying in Paciano. As it is too far to travel at 15:00 on the Saturday, we want to stay over on our way to Paciano and then continue the next day.
