michelin map of paris

I've read so many of the posts and most have mentioned the Michelin map or michelin guide book. Where can I find it? Looking for one for Paris

You can buy them online, at any big bookstore with an extensive travel section, and via mail. Do you have Borders or WaldenBooks nearby?

Niki,
The best Michelin map of Paris is Michelin Paris Plan #11. Very comprehensive and easy to read. It's in soft cover about 4 inches by 8 inches. It lists attractions and keys them to the map location. The book also has bus, RER and Metro routes and plans of Paris' airports Any major book store should have it or be able to order it. Amazon has it available on its website.

You can find this map (Mich. #11) at Borders, Barnes and Noble etc..It is a great map, I used it recently to "plot" our way for a 2 day dash through Paris. I had almost all our walking directions written out and they were right on the spot.

Spread it out on your dinning room table of the floor and you'll have no problems finding your way from any point to anyo other point.

MarkJ

I have the #12 version of the Michelin Paris Plan which includes a street index along with the map.(Repertoire des rues)

I got mine from One Map Place in Dallas.
email [email protected]
Jeff will give you service because he owns the place. And, you can find out just what it is you are buying you make the purchase.
You just don't order from an anonymous website; I felt like I was dealing with a person -- which I was.
I did all of my shopping via email and got maps to London, Paris, and elsewhere. He sent stuff out pronto on the strength of a credit card number.

For a map to carry with you, the one in the Fodors Paris guide is good enough.
That big jewel never left my room.
I plotted the routes from it, marked them on the Fodors map, and headed out.
Granted the Fodors map was a little marked on, but the big one is clean!
It is the best one I have seen.
I need to correct my self, we have Michelim map #12 that Mr. Brown refered to not the #11 that I mentioned in my earlier post. All other comments still apply.

MarkJ
