Fewest transfers:

Take the RER-B suburban train from CDG into Paris, getting off at Denfert-Rochereau (one stop after Chatelet). Transfer (using same ticket) to metro line 6 (Charles deGaulle Etoile - Nation line), going in the direction of Charles de Gaulle Etoile. Get off at the "Bir-Hakeim" metro stop. Walk toward the Eiffel Tower (e.g., along the Seine) and you will run into Avenue Suffern (looks like a few block walk -- check a map for distance).

Happy travels.

John H.

I don't know where Avenue Suffren is but with an exact address you can check the route finder at
http://www.ratp.fr/ParisVisite/Eng/pivi/f_pivi.htm.

To get into Central Paris from CDG you take the RER B train directly from the airport to one of the metro stops that connects with it. For example if you were going directly to Tour Eiffel from CDG you would take the RER B direction Saint-Remy-Les-Chevreuse until Saint Michel Notre-Dame and then change to the RER C train direction Versailles-Rive Gauche, get. Trip takes about 1 hour.

sorry John, didn't mean to "step on your toes" as I walked away from the computer for a few minutes after I started typing up my post
