Check out www.viamichelin.com for driving times.
I'm sorry i can't help you about hours to visit the monasteries, but i think they're open every day.

The monasteries are not all open every day, but they close on different days. See www.kalampaka.com/en/meteora/monasteries.asp

we took an overnight trip from athens to meteora
the whole trip from athens was about five hours stopping on the way to delphi for about an hour
its a long way ..about 3 and half hours from memory from delphi..very winding road..we were driven past Lamia plain with the aegean sea on our left..the police stopped the coach and checked his speed disc..
we had a half hour break at the shell station at 4pm and then it was another two hours ..the road becomes straight again
we stopped at the byzantine eikonon where they make icons which took about 45 minutes though
so i guess going on a tour takes much longer
just realised this is probably useless to you in real time terms lol sorry!
