Message for AllyPally

Did you decide where to go over Xmas?

(and, no, I don't know why I opened this thread in the first place)

NYCFoodSnob, all you need to do is click on AllyPally's name above and you will get her other posts, including the one she posted this morning on the US forum with your name in the title. If you are trying to find that message by search, it probably won't come up yet. Just click on her name to get the message.

LOL!
AllyPally - the answer to my question is right there IN the post on the US board that you refer to!
Morocco didn't suit in the end?

Thank you, Patrick. I do love having a man around to help. Actually, I knew you could do that but I had a senior moment. Fodors is really making me feel old.

Hi Kavey. Yes, decided against Morocco unfortunately. I thought long and hard about it. I have travelled to Arab countries before so the politics wasn't the major issue - however, it was enough of an 'if' for me to consider elsewhere. And if you remember, i wanted somewhere hot!! And I'm going to New York now!! My partner has never been (shame, he will never get to see the WTC) and I want him to see what I think is the true 'City of Light'.

AP
Morocco will still there next year or the year after and I'm sure NY will be wonderful... it's got so much to offer! I can't say I'd choose it over winter as I hate the cold and the dark but friends who have been then have enjoyed the seasonal spirit of November and December very much!
Have fun!
