Hello Jill, Haven't we done this before? I am confused. OK, try these.
Hotel Prince des Galles--you can book it thru the Best Western res system.

Hotel Dues Ambassedeurs [sp] A very nice 4 star in good location

Royal Westminster--forget web site

That is all I know now. Good luck !
You will love Menton. Check out the dog walking phenom in the car-free walking zone at 18:00---great people watching.

Hi Jill,
I might also be of some assistance.

Hotel Mediterrannee--5 rue de la Republique 33.4.92.41.81.81, fax is 33.4.92.41.81.82

Hotel Napolean---29 porte de France, 33.4.93358950

Hotel Princess et Richmond---617, Promenade Du Soleil
33.4.93358020

Best Wishes. (Odds are with you for a sunny stay, as Menton enjoys 300 days of sunshine per year.)
BC

Thanks so much, Bob and BC. This is actually a very last minute decision. We decided to switch from Cannes to Menton - we're going next week! The Westminster is booked (seniors?) and there is one room left at the Ambassedeurs . . .

Are the Mediterraneae or Napolean centrally located?

Jill,
The Napolean is closer to the water, a few blocks away. (The street it's on runs parallel to the shoreline.)

The Mediterranee has a more central location & is well within a comfortable walking distance to the "old city" section of Menton.
Bon Voyage,
BC
