Meeting place and directions
We are taking a tour to the castles and need to meet the tour group at the Neptune Fountain in Elisenstrasse. We are staying at the Renaissance Hotel (frequent hotel points 
) and I understand from posts that there is a subway station near the hotel. Would someone be able to advise on how to get from that station to the Neptune Fountain in Elisenstrasse? We have never been to Munich and will be traveling with our family of 7 so I am trying to familiarize myself a little. Also, are there any "favorite, inexpensive" restaurants or beer gardens that you recommend? Many thanks for your assistance!

And this is not the first time that LikeToTravel has shown confusion about re-posting exactly the same mesasge in a short of interval of time. Not that it is something to get <i>mad</i> about... but I just wonder if there is a problem getting the message about how to find previous posts. Transfer to the U4 or U5 lines, by following the escalators towards the front of the platform. Take either the U4 twd "Westendstrasse" or the U5 twd "Laimer Platz" for one station to "Karlsplatz/Stachus" - (both lines share the same track, so take whichever comes first). At Karlsplatz exit toward the rear of the platform, and the Neptunbrunnen should be in the immediate vicinity right in front of the Jutice Palace (an ornate 19th century building).
