Mayfair Apartments?

We are looking for two reasonable apartments in the Mayfair area of London to lease for a few days next July. I realize reasonable and Mayfair shouldn't be used in the same sentence, but my husband always likes to be near the Green Park underground station. Would appreciate any advice!! Thanks

Try Manors and Company, www.manors.co.uk-we have rented flats in South Kensington and I know they have a lot of properties. You can see what they have online..There is also a tube station around the corner from the one in So Ken, the So Ken station on Old Brompton Rd. Good luck!

Nancy, try the Home from Home rental mgmt agency at www.homefromhome.co.uk. We stayed in a nice 2 BR flat on Hill St., very centrally located and close to the Green Park station. I don't remember the rates, but certainly more reasonable than a hotel stay. Good luck!

Nancy, my husband and I returned from London 10/1. We stayed in a rented flat located on Balfour Place in Mayfair(cross street is Mount Street). Flat was on top (4th floor) of a period building which houses a law firm, Evans Dodd. We used Farnum & Christ in Bristol, TN, as agents. My husband was keen on staying in a flat, so stay in a flat we did. Balfour Place was a good 10 minute walk from the Green Park tube station. After 3 days, 10 minutes was LONG! Just stay at The Ritz or the Inter-Continental and make it easy on yourself. We also considered using Park Lane Apartments (www.parklane.co.uk) after a recommendation from a man we met on a plane (he said he and wife have used their service for years). Our flat experience was OK. I can say that in future travels, we will revert to small boutique hotels. I'm into service! If you decide to go the hotel route, I highly recommend The London Outpost of the Carnegie Club, at 69 Cadogan Gardens (2 minutes walk from Sloane Square).
