The following is the official Web site of the Basilica di San Francesco in Assisi:
http://www.sanfrancescoassisi.org/index.html
Unfortunately, it seems to be down at the moment. You might try it later or in a day or two.

I see from your post about Assisi that you leave this evening, so I don't know whether you will see this.
The Basilica Web site is still acting up, but I found the following schedule for the Basilica at "Assisi On Line":
Basilica di San Francesco
Feriali: ore 7.00 - 8.00 - 9.00 -10.00 -11.00 - 18.00
Vigilia festivi: ore 18.00
Festa: ore 7,30 - 9.00 -10.30 - 12.00 -17.00 - 18.30
Feriali are every day except Sunday and major church holidays. The Vigilia festivi are, I think, something that takes place on the eve of Sunday (i.e., Saturday) or of a major church holiday.
Festa are Sundays and major church holidays.
The hours are given according to the European system: 18.00 is 6:00 p.m.
You'd probably be best off simply to call the Basilica when you get to Italy or to Assisi: 075819001. (The number has to be dialed starting with the zero no matter where you are calling from.)
And you might want to ask, as the previous poster has suggested, which masses are in the "chiesa inferiore" (the lower church with the tomb of St. Frances) and in the "chiesa superiore."

Perhaps the original poster is already somewhereover the Atlantic, but the Mass we attended in the lower Basilica on a Sunday in 2002, with wonderful! choir, was at 10:00 a.m.
Arrive early to get a place to sit.
The Mass was wonderful, but I was surprised they didn't seem to stop admissions once Mass was underway, and packed-in tourists seemed to be inching their way along throughout the Mass. Okay to deal with if you are seated, but I think it would be grim to be packed in with the milling tourists.
