Thank you for your report. Your photos have me dreaming again. I lived in Marseille years ago and knew some of the towns you visited;I'm so glad that it's still the same. Thanks again for sharing so generously.

Glad to see you enjoyed Montpellier. We really were impressed with the city and will likely return for a longer visit. Uzes is on our short list for a "long stay" and I'm jealous Grandmere!

I need to start planning my next trip to Marseille. Only 3 hours by train from Paris, and we are entering the wonderful low season... Since the "cultural" year ends when 2014 arrives, maybe I should go around Christmas...
