Glad you mentioned it. I was watching Notting Hill tonight, in fact. I just don't find the love story believeable. I mean, how could an Annie Scott fall for Hugh Grant's nervous character? The chemistry is all wrong. I turned it off after my favorite scene, the birthday party.

Try this link
www.timeout.com/
Then search markets - simple!

Columbia Road market on a sunday is fantastic.
Greenwich is good (go on a saturday, less growded).
Pick up a leaflet at any underground station, this gives a brief discription of each of the main London Markets by area. It then tells you how to get there!
Cheers

Re Gareth's posting;
Whilst I completely agree that Columbia road is fab, am I correct in thinking that US tourists can't take plantlife home, and really there is little else to buy there(with the exception of great bacon butties in the birdcage)I think that C Rd is better for those few Londoners who can still afford a garden.
Spitalfields, BTW, is great
