Marianna is in Sorrento!

We arrived yesterday from Rome. It is beautiful here, but very hot! Right now we are at the internet cafe near the webcam. When we leave, I will wave hello to anyone online now.

Thanks, Mimi! We haven't had a chance to get back to the webcam but we are walking over in about 45 minutes since my sister and son will be watching. I have on an orange shirt in case anyone is looking. We spent the day with relatives yesterday and visited Napoli. We had two wonderful dinners - at La Tonnarella (food okay, but what a view!) and at Ricardo Francischiello at the Hotel Bella Vista in Massa Lubrense (excellent!).

Hi Marianna! Is it as hot there as last summer? I'll look for you on the webcam.

Hi Marianna.

Keep eating those nice cold gelatos to help with the heat.

I thought I saw her. Someone in orange top and white pants was there for about 15 minutes starting at 9 a.m. Was it you, Marianna?

I took a look anyway and noticed most women wear wearing cropped pants.

cigalechanta,

oops...didn't notice the time. Oh well, for future reference.

I'm in the West Coast so the time difference screws me up a bit.

Hello everyone! We had a great time in Italy. Yes, that was me in the orange top and white pants. I stayed a while at the webcam because the whole family was trying to see me. We are now in France and in Menton for the day and just found this internet connection spot. Gracie, the apartment is fabulous as was the one in Sorrento.

Hi there:

Is the heat tolerable? I am planning on travelling to Rome?Umbria in August and am trying to decide between a hotel with airconditioning and a Villa (lovely) without. Any advice since you are in the heat of things right now
