I always liked<BR><BR>www.mappy.com<BR><BR>this seemed to be more of a 'trip planner' site rather than actual maps, but then again, I may not have explored the whole site - the first thing that came up is, 'name your starting point and destination' and it gives you options to drive, with tolls, etc.<BR><BR>similar to mapquest I suppose..<BR><BR>Beth

There are so many different reasons to want a map. A map for driving is obviously different than a map for sightseeing on foot in a big city.<BR><BR>One purpose that comes up, time and again is where to find good maps for scrapbooks, websites, or other "report" purposes. It only cover the UK, but I find www.streetmap.co.uk to be best for this country.
